In My Head
Have you ever been in your head? I mean really stuck there—where your thoughts and emotions are swirling so fast that you can’t seem to make sense of them. You’re caught in a loop of worry, doubt, fear, or anger, and no matter how hard you try, you just can’t shake it. If you’ve ever been there, you know exactly what I’m talking about. To be “in your head” means being locked into an emotional battle that you can’t seem to break free from. It’s when your thoughts and feelings overwhelm you to the point that they cloud your judgment, distort your reality, and leave you feeling trapped. Whether it’s anxiety about the future, shame from the past, or anger that won’t let go, these emotions can take hold and pull us away from the truth that God speaks over our lives. In this series, In My Head, we’re going to confront these emotional battles head-on. We’ll dive into Scripture to see what God says about the toxic emotions that seek to derail our faith—emotions like fear, doubt, shame, and anger. Through His Word, we’ll learn how to get out of our heads and back into God’s heart, finding the freedom and peace He promises us.
